Oglov Business Development has expanded its Negotiating Success practice for international corporate clients to include Business Coaching. Over the past couple of years, Linda has worked with a variety of clients including CEOs, Marketing Managers, Finance Directors, Advertising Executives, Government Leaders and others in fields as diverse as telecommunications, medicine, sustainability and sports.
Business coaching is about helping an individual negotiate their own success. With Linda’s coaching, an individual is guided through a systematic approach to whatever might be standing between him/her and success. These challenges might include: performance improvement, relationship management (internal and external), business skills or communication issues or making a career transition. The client sets the agenda and Linda expertly asks the questions that will help unlock the issue and move to an action plan. All coaching sessions are held in strictest confidence.

NEGOTIATING SUCCESSFUL CONTRACTS Major Event Sponsorship
While the approach may differ from client to client, the process of becoming the sponsor of a major event typically follows a pattern like this:
• Company is considering sponsorship or is approached by the organizing committee.
• Company approaches Oglov Business Development Inc. for assistance on:
• Assessing the business opportunity: where is our ROI?
o Assessing the marketing opportunity: how could we leverage this involvement? What tier of rights must we have?
o Assessing the cost: how much should we pay? What should be the split of cash and VIK (value in kind)?
o Assessing the rights and benefits being offered: what more could or should we be asking for?
o RFP response or bid to organizing committee, including drafting the marketing rights, contract markup (if required) and reviewing entire submission.
o Advising or directly participating in negotiation strategy.
o Closing the deal: bringing together all parts of the deal and ensuring a successful close and readiness for signing final agreement.• During this time, Linda Oglov becomes a core member of the company’s negotiating team which usually includes senior executives, representatives of marketing, operations, finance and legal departments and outside agencies.
